Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SADbatt. They are written in English on purpose. By using the app you agree to them; if you don't, please don't use the app.

Plain summary: Use the app for yourself. Don't try to break it or harm other users. We provide it "as is" — it's a battery meter for your social life, not medical advice. You can delete your account any time.

001Who you are agreeing with

These terms are between you and Lynqtech ("we", "our", "us"), the operator of SADbatt. Contact: support@lynqtech.io.

002Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SADbatt. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these terms on your behalf.

003Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to sign in (email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google). Don't share your account with anyone else. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

004License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use SADbatt on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

005Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except where this is permitted by applicable law.
Interfere with or disrupt our backend, attempt to access other users' data, or probe for security vulnerabilities without authorization.
Use the app to violate any law or to infringe anyone's rights.
Resell, white-label, or commercially exploit the app or any of its content.

006Your content

You own the battery levels, notes, and other content you log ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely so that we can provide the app to you (sync across devices, compute summaries, render share cards). We will not use Your Content to train models, sell advertising, or share with third parties.

007Not medical advice

SADbatt is a comedic, self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, mental-health service, or substitute for professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified health professional or, in an emergency, your local emergency services.

008Service availability

We try to keep the app and backend running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access to users who violate these terms.

009Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

010Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Lynqtech be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to USD $50.

011Termination

You can stop using SADbatt at any time and delete your account from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these terms; we'll try to give you notice first when reasonable.

012Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

013Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your country of residence.

014Apple-specific terms

You acknowledge that these terms are between you and Lynqtech, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. In the event of any conflict between these terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, Apple's terms shall control with respect to your use of the app on Apple devices. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
