Privacy Policy

SADbatt is a social-battery tracker. We try to collect as little as possible, and we will never sell your data, advertise to you inside the app, or share what you log with anyone.

The short version: We store your email so you can sign in. The battery levels, activities, and notes you log stay on your device unless you turn on cloud backup in Settings. We also log usage events (which screens you open, which buttons you tap, streak milestones) tied to your account so we can understand how people use the app — never the actual content of your logs. You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.

000App Store privacy summary

In Apple's privacy taxonomy, the data we collect is linked to your identity (because every record is keyed to your account, which is identified by your email). We declare the following categories on our App Store listing:

We do not collect Diagnostics (no crash data, no performance data, no other diagnostic data), advertising identifiers, location, contacts, photos, audio, sensor data, browsing history, financial information, or health and fitness data. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or attribution SDKs.

001Who we are

SADbatt is operated by Lynqtech ("we", "our", "us"). The app is published under the bundle identifier com.lynqtech.sadbatt. You can reach us at support@lynqtech.io.

002What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to run the app:

Email address — used to create and sign in to your account (via email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google).
Name — only if you choose to share it via Sign in with Apple or Google. Not required.
User content — the battery levels, activity tags, notes, templates, and daily check-ins you log inside the app. This stays on your device by default. It is only sent to our servers if you turn on Settings → Cloud backup, in which case it is stored as a single backup row tied to your account.
Authentication identifiers — a Supabase user ID and session token, stored on your device, used to keep you signed in.
Usage events — records of app interactions (sign-up, screen views, button taps, streak milestones) tied to your account so we can understand which features are used. Each event includes the event name, your account ID, the app version, and a timestamp. We never include the actual content of your logs (amounts, categories, notes) in these events. The same list is visible in-app at Settings → What we collect.

When milestone is detected

We do not collect: mood data, battery levels, the content of your notes, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, advertising identifiers, browsing history, health or fitness data, financial information, or any device sensor data. We also do not collect crash logs, performance metrics (launch time, hang rate, energy use), or other diagnostic data — there is no crash-reporting or performance-monitoring SDK in the app.

003Why we collect it

The data we collect is used for two purposes:

App functionality — authenticating you, optionally backing up your logs across devices, and computing your weekly summaries and trends.
Product research — usage events help us understand which features are useful so we can decide what to build next. We do not use your data for advertising, attribution, or sale to third parties, and we never include the actual content of your logs in these events.

004Tracking

No third-party tracking. SADbatt does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not use the iOS App Tracking Transparency framework, we do not include third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not share your data with ad networks, data brokers, or analytics partners. The usage events described above are first-party only — they go from the app directly to our own database, not to any third party.

005Where your data lives

Your data is stored in Supabase (a managed Postgres host), protected by row-level security so that only you can read or modify your own rows. Supabase processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the identity token from that provider is exchanged for a Supabase session — we never see or store your Apple/Google password.

006How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all of your rows are deleted from our database immediately and permanently — see the next section.

007Deleting your account

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: Settings → Delete account. This calls a server-side function that removes your auth.users row; every other row that references it (your profile, your cloud backup if any, and your usage events) is deleted by cascade. The action is immediate and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer access the app, email support@lynqtech.io from the address you signed up with and we will delete your account within 30 days.

008Your rights

Depending on where you live (EEA, UK, California, and others), you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. The fastest path for all of these is to use Settings → Delete account in the app, or email us at support@lynqtech.io.

009Children

SADbatt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

010Security

All connections to our backend use HTTPS. Passwords (when you use email sign-in) are hashed by Supabase Auth and never visible to us. We follow industry-standard practices for managing access to our infrastructure, but no system is perfectly secure — if you suspect a vulnerability, please report it to support@lynqtech.io.

011Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of SADbatt after a change means you accept the updated policy.
